Unfair Talk Talk Bill

could anyone please advise me of the best way to communicate with Talk Talk, apparently talking isn't helpful. 2 years ago i moved from a house where i had a TT internet/phone "service". I called them to let them know i was moving house and wouldn't have a landline in my future house as it was a bedsit. Also for the prevoius 3 months before moving : first the landline just up and disappeared followed a month later by the internet connection. I tried to contact them a number of times but to no avail, someone would read out the technical support page from the website word for word( even though i am able to read!). So now 2 years later i am receiving letters from a debt collection agency for £170 for the remainder of the contract.
So i called them up, talked to 3 or 4 very kind and helpful talktalkers, and the last one said it was ok this debt had been written off last december. So i thought fine then thats that.
Well no, cos now i've got another "final offer letter" from Creditlink (debt collection) for the very same £170

Has anyone had a similar experience and could you offer me some sound advice, cos i'm running out of patience!

So there was fault with both the landline and the internet connection prior to you moving? did they just stop the activity when you got in touch to say you were breaking contract early?
