Bank help

I am currently in £500 debt with the bank and a good slice of that is going to be bank charges for being over drawn. Basicly i am sick of halifax becuase of the £35 banking charges. I know i shouldnt have gone over drawn but i was a week late getting paid and i need to live. My question is what bank could i transfer my overdraft too and save on the interest? or atleast get a few month break from the interest on the other draft. My bills i got on direct debit cost me £100 a month i get £250 a month free so that means i can pay £150 of my over draft but the interest and being charged those £35 bank fees suck. I said i would take halifax to court over the banking charges but they said that wont happen until janurary and basicly they didnt give a hoot. So what iv done is transfered my direct debits to barclays as that account is debt free and £100 in credit which will be enough to pay my bills for a month. then i can focus on transfering from the halifax to another bank and paying my overdraft off. What bank would transfer my current account with £500 overdraft and what would be the best deal on interest? How long does the transfers take? What gets me is it costs the bank a few pounds when you go overdrawn and then they make atleast £30 profit each time you go over and iv gone over by £60 on about 4 transactions and bam i get £140 banking charges plus interest on top of that and then the interest for my overdraft.

Alliance and Leicester were offering an account with a free OD for the first 12 months.

Then you can reclaim the charges and reduce the OD as well.
