My husband has this shaver and its fantastic, he uses it in the shower. The only bad thing is its not always easy to get hold of the shaving gel sachets. Our local Boots doesnt do them (although they say they can order them in) so we usually end up buying them from MerryHill (usually when they are on offer 3 for 2). Apart from the sachets my husband would highly recommend it. :snow_grin

Not sure myself, I will ask hubby when he rolls out of bed (works early shifts, gotto stay awake tonight!) I will let you know.

He says he cant see any reason why you couldnt use a different shaving gel, but its not something he would do. That probably doesnt help much though
