DVD regions code

in Freebies gone but not forgotten
Can anyone help me my stepdaughter has a DVD player make Technika we need to make it multi region can anyone help me I did have a sight early this year to make my own multi region but when I have been on tonight to get hers they are all ones you have to pay for now does anyone know any sights where I might get one for FREE I would value any help at all

    Apparently if you turn the tv setting to multi instead of ntsc or pal in the dvd players setup menu, it not only plays multi regional films but DVD-R/RW/+R/RW too.

    Don't shoot me if it's not true - I just read it elsewhere a while back (and don't have a Technika)
    There are 10 types of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't

    In many cases it helps if you say where you are - someone with local knowledge might be able to give local specifics rather than general advice

    Not to worry, I've been looking at the Kiss players, that will apparantly play anything, so guess I'll just have to treat myself to one of them :j

    i'm looking out for one- apparently its quite an in-demand code.
    in the meantime- have you tried the dvd132 code?

    Found this method for unlocking the Technika 132, I know your on the 103, but maybe this will work for your players also:

    You've chosen to view the multiregion hack for the Technika DVD-132 DVD player. To convert this player into a multiregion DVD player please follow these simple instructions (assume you are using the remote control unless otherwise stated):

    Press Setup, Stop, Previous and Next on player

    Seelct region via menu, Bypass represents multiregion
    things arent the way they were before, you wouldnt even recognise me anymore- not that you knew me back then ;)

    It has been around for years and it has a free hacksearch and a free forum with hundreds of users dedicated to finding your hack :)
