CCA request letter - help!

Hello there.
I sent a cca request letter to Apex Credit Management in Stratford upon Avon (they've taken over my £480 Barclaycard debt) on the 11th Nov, and have just received a letter back from them, threatening CCJ's and all sorts. They haven't said anything about my request or the credit agreement, or the deed of assignment.
My question is: is this just more empty threats, or have I put my foot in it and can now expect prosecution? Can they prosecute without providing the cca? Should I just sit it out and wait for the 12 days, or is there anything else I can do right now?
Thanks for any help,
Neil

Hi
have you checked that the letter was signed for?
And this sort of threat is fairly standard as a response form DCAs who receive CCA letters,; they want you to pay before they default.
if they go to court and have not produce the CCA, then you can use that as defence.
When did you take out the account? If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Thanks for your reply, appreciate it. The letter definitely arrived and was signed for (I have the printed signiature from the Royal Mail tracker service). The account was opened in 2003 - what kind of bearing does that have?0

Does it have to be six years since I last paid anything? Sorry if I'm a bit confused - I'm terrible with these situations.
Any help, anyone?
