Hi all .... quick bit of advice needed
tonight in asda we purchased a couple of large joints (1 cooked turkey) (1 roast beef) cause they were reduced pretty cheap best before tomorrow.
Question is, will it be okay to cut these into chunks/ slices etc and freeze them? they are both cooked (were meant for deli dept) but have no instructions as to if they can be frozen.
Thanks all

Yes - as long as they haven't been frozen since they were cooked, they'll be fine. Slice as you want it and freeze in small enough portions that you get out what you need.
If we have roast beef, I'll often slice the cold joint and wrap and freeze. Next time we fancy beef in gravy (TM style, not BirdsEye) I'll just grab a couple of packs out of the freezer. Voila - fresh roast beef again. In fact, I know what we're having for tea tomorrow night :T

just curious?0 -
The rule of thumb is that you can freeze once before cooking and once after cooking, so Yes in the quick answer you are after.0
