    I rang 08450703703 explained the situation, and they told me they would change my tax code, contact my employer and i would get a fullrefund in next payslip!!!

  • thats an important number, i know when ive been a student in the last few years i always used to get over taxed...and never claimed it(lost allw age slips:(),

    No, the whole thing was incorrect, not just the last sentence.

    OP, you are currently on a Week 1/ non cumulative basis, which basically means that you had not yet been allocated your correct code (which will normally be 603L, unless you have any taxable benefits). Assuming there is sufficient time before your next payment, it should be changed by then.
    Gone ... or have I?
