Term time working

Hi

New to this site, did post a thread a couple of weeks ago with this title but can't find it!!!!!

Anyway, any ideas on term time working anyone,don't want to do childcare, nurseries etc... tried that, minumum pay & exhausting noisy work!!! lol

Do the civil service do flexi working or term time working?

Any suggestions greatfully recieved..

    You could work in a School? My friend is an administrator so has no contact with the pupils but works term-time only.

    Some of the banks do term time only contracts, although sometimes only if you've worked for them full-time before.

    I believe Civil Service do such contracts, but may require you to do full-time training / induction initially.

    I know people in the civil service (and NHS) who do term time only - but they all were year round to start with

    I'm with the Civil Service, and work term time - its great!

    But, I had to start on a normal contract, part time (after 8 weeks f/t training), then had to apply to change to term time.

    Furher Education Colleges and Universities usually employ some term time only staff.

    Speaking from the NHS point of view, the decision to allow someone to work term time only is at the discretion of the line manager only. Its not a blanket policy.
