We have the full band set for GH WT and it's awesome fun. but there are some issues with drum kit sensitivity - we exchanged ours no problem. the manufacturers are acknowledging it and will send you a usb to midi cable for you to adjust the sensitivity. also, do not tighten the cymbal pads too much.
The game is fantastic.
However, you can use any USB mic, including the xbox360 gamer headset for singer - great if you have the wireless one you can pretend to be madonna!
old GH guitars will work fine with it. so really for £50 it's a steal if you want to buy the drums later instead of £150 for the whole set now. Rockband are bringing out a new set of drums for rockband 2 which should be about £70 and compatible with GH. hope that helps. GH stuff is compatible with rockband on the 360 and for the most part on the ps3, but not on Wii. see here:http://blog.wired.com/games/2008/11/official-guitar.html and read the comments for more debate on compatibility.

reserved one last night and picked it up today for the 360. my OH was waiting for ages, our number was 881 and it was well in the 920s before they came out with it, I wonder if they were trying to find out if it was a misprice? hahha thanks OP I am dead chuffed with this. I am glad they got rid of the boss battles that were in GH3 this version seems much better.
