Littlewoods refusing a return

I returned an item to Littlewoods as it wasnt worth the money, looked cheap and tacky and like it wouldnt last 5 minutes. It was a toy for DD.Anyway they have returned it to me as I opened the box as this deems it as unreturnable. But how am I to check the contents? It wasnt sealed or anything. I explained this and then they said I have also taken some lollies out of the box.I didn't take any lollies out, if they were missing on return its because they werent in there when I got it! I told them this and they said I should have marked the box to say parts missing, but how if I didnt know there was meant to be lollies in there?Im really annoyed as theyve also charged me £6 to return it to me

  • Call them back and ask to speak with a manager instantly.

Explain that items were missing and that is why you returned the item. Inform them you were unaware this needed to be noted on the paperwork.

Either way with the items missing this toy was faulty and not FIT for PURPOSE.

I would insist on a refund asap of both toy and re-delivery charge + make them come and collect the toy from you as this faulty they have not complete their end of the contract and this is within your costumer rights.

Don`t let them mess you about - stay calm, be polite at all time but speak with the big guys they get things done asap.

    I hope this helps :j
