Hi
i have decided i think Bankruptcy is the best option for me
Im currently in just over £ 13,000 in debt
im a single mum with two kids, i work part time
Im looking for advice about what i need to do first, i have found looked on insolvency site but unsure what im meant to do once i have illed the forms.
Also i have been told i maybe able to apply for help with the court costs, how do i do this?
If anyone can help i would bee very grateful
thanks Julie

Hi and welcome to the board.
The first thing you need to do is contact one of the debt charities and go through your options with them. You need to do this as the judge will ask if you have taken advice and could delay your petition until you have.
You need to ring your local county court and find out if they operate an appointment or walk in system. You can book an appointment to suit when you want to petition.
If you look at the first post of the Bankruptcy Help sticky you will see links for the fee remission, the online forms and many other pieces of information.

Hi and welcome. If you need help filling out the forms, especially SOA, just ask.
