Thanks for this, just sent for one.
  • I was a vegan for 2 years and have been considering going back to that lifestyle; I already don't drink milk...this'll be a great encouragement.
  • Thanks! I'm a Vegetarian but my OH is considering Vegan. This could come in handy.

thanks for that - i have been a veggie most of my life due to allergies - but am finding more of a problem with dairy since having my gallbladder removed 3 years ago and am looking for ways to reduce and eliminate cheese etc.

Hi - thanks for post, am lacto veggie, i.e., do have some dairy but not eggs. Often prefer to use non-dairy alternatives and love giving people things to eat and then telling them after that hasn't got any butter, cream etc in (epscially the sceptics!).

    Also thanks for link treaclemine.

Any tips for an egg free omelette style dish gratefully appreciated (have tried bought mix but just didn't like the taste and didn't seem worth eating the ingrediants). Children quite happily eat mashed tofu with cheese instead of scrambled egg but have yet to conquer anything like an omelette or a veggie sausage-toad-in-the-hole batter that rises properly.
