Morning Everyone!! Right.......sorry to be so blunt but I hope with all the Christmas festivities others can sympathise!!! PLEASE tell me what OS remedy I can slip in my Hubby's breakfast to stop the smell!!! I'm aware the pregnancy hormones make my sense of smell better (cruel twist of fate I think LOL!!!)but he's honking. I know it's the rich food, beer etc but at this time of year it's everywhere. If nobody knows of a good old fashioned cure for flatulance maybe someone can suggest what I can plug him with!!LOL Thanks in advance. Apologies in advance for any offence!! :snow_laug

If you strike a match in the bathroom then the sulphur in the match neutralises the smell.
If he keeps doing it then threaten to set light to his trousers while he is in them!;)"This site is addictive!"

Ginger is supposed to help - I'll try and find out more info
Okay - here is a quote from one website:
Limit flatulence. Because ginger soothes the digestive tract, it can be useful in relieving flatulence. Supplements or freshly grated ginger root mixed with diluted lime juice work well for this purpose.
Also, another suggests ginger tea, which I would make just using fresh ginger and boiling water.
If he is unlikely to drink it, you could always try buying stem ginger coated in chocolate or yoghurt and see if that helps....
Good luck!0 -

If all else fails, you could always get him to take a charcoal tablet every day. They are great for wind.

Thanks for all these ideas...I will try the peppermint and ginger first, then set fire to his trousers. Romance is still there after 11 years together ( I also feel free to chuff in front of him...mine don't reek of ageing sprouts and xmas pud though!!) so I can let him off when he does the same!!LOL :xmastree:0
