Hotmail - Windows live - can't open attachments?

Hello,
All day today I have been unable to open any emails with attachments sent to my hotmail email address. I get the following error message:
"Windows Live Hotmail wasn't able to complete this request. Microsoft may contact you about any issues you report. Please report this problem to Microsoft. | Network status"
I can open any emails without attachments though. Clicking on "please report ..." does nothing at all.
Is anyone else experiencing this and/or know of a way to fix it?

P.S. I am using Mozilla Firefox but have also tried in Internet Explorer and the same thing happens.0
