Tea Light Holders- HELP!

Hi Everyone! I am having a nightmare with trying to make some tea light holders, I work in a nursery and the children are all (hopefully) going to make tea light holders and paint them to sell at our Christmas Fayre. Now, I initially thought we can use salt dough so I used a cutter to make a circle and pressed the tea…

Thanks for all these ideas ladies, some of the tea light holders do appear to be 'useable' as I tried again with a new batch of dough, so maybe it was just a a bad batch of dough. We use equal quantities of salt and flour, a drop of oil and enough water to bind it together, it has always worked before so probably just a one off.

Thanks a lot for the replies and I love the letter holder idea and will definately be having a go at that.
