ASDA credit card
On the way out of ASDA we were apprached about applyig for a store/ credit card. If we applied we were 'successful',we would be given a credit card, if not we get an ASDA store card. After the usual checks we were accepted for the credit card. I read in the very small print that the first 6 months was at 0%, and when I queried the post 6-month rate , I was told 13.8%. not great, I thought. I am only interested in 0%, for 6 months however.
Once at home I read the small print again, only to find that the highlighted ongoing rate was 28.8 % !
I will of course be checking this out, but I wonder how many people are unaware of this exhorbitant rate.
This interest rate is extortionate. Why do ASDA need to do this ?
