Good price considering the size of the drive.

I've got the older 160gb version of these - its big and ugly. I prefer the look of the Toshiba which is more stylish, available from PC World in the sale for 114 pounds0

That toshiba one has gone back up to £1290

Has anyone got any idea of how reliable these drives are? The price is definately very good seeing as a 300GB Lacie drive from eBuyer is around £135 + P&P (although this is a very good drive).0

The Amazon unit looks very cheap compared to the Toshiba one. I have both, and the Toshiba one is a much better unit.0

I have one of these caddies from Aldi last year. Because of the heat generated by the drive I'd not recommend it - you need a caddy with a fan on it for extended use.Tim0
