  • It only lets you record one programme at a time. Modern recorders let you record two at a time and watch something on the hard disc.
  • Doesn't get the best reviews, but cheaper here than I can find it for anywhere else.

I don't think you can beat this one for both the price , £129.97, and the quality ....I have had one for ages and just bought my kid one for xmas
Humax digital TV recorder comes in black and features a 160GB hard drive. It has the ability to record 1 channel whilst watching another, and is MP3 compatible. With an RGB output, 2 SCART sockets, this digital TV recorder can easily be connected to other audio visual components.... also pauses and rewinds live T.V.
Wish I could stop editing EVERY post I make

Good though the Humax is (I have an 80gb model), the Philips has HDMI and 1080p upscaling so is a much better set up

Not forgetting the Philips is a DVD recorder/player with built in HDD recorder, and the humax is purely a HDD recorder ;)
  • Single tuner only = crappy imo.
  • With 15% off the entire site this is now £131.45 delivered!
