I don't think you can beat this one for both the price , £129.97, and the quality ....I have had one for ages and just bought my kid one for xmas

Good though the Humax is (I have an 80gb model), the Philips has HDMI and 1080p upscaling so is a much better set up

Not forgetting the Philips is a DVD recorder/player with built in HDD recorder, and the humax is purely a HDD recorder
