hi all,

We currently dont have sky or cable (only have freeview) at the moment, and i'd like to take up the basic ntl tv subscription. Having read the digital tv cost cutting thread I get the impression that only existing customers get the discounts. Is this the case or is there a strategy I can use to get the package I want cheaper?

most of the discounts are to retain customers once their contracts are up, occasionally they do give sign up discount i.e. Sky's 3 months half price but mostly they don't offer anything as long as you sign up
