I'm a regulat visitor to one near us.
Ours has half marked price Asda, Tesco, Safeway, Sainsbury meat - roasts, mince, chops, you name it.
Also 99p ready meals (from the same shops), but I choose not to but these..
    Also, fruit, veg, bread...
I get my soap powder from there too - it tends to be a foriegn brand but very cheap and works well.
You name it, you can buy iy at out Company shop. BUT beware faulse economies - don't buy just cos it's cheap
  • Lucky you - never heard of it before. Is it by invitation only, or do you work for the company? Look forward to hearing all about it.

for ours, you have to have a card to get in.
To get a card, you need to be a factory worker (to do with the stuff they sell I think), or for for the services (Police, Fire, NHS and teachers). I'm NHS!!!
  • Oooh - Never heard of them!

My sister works for Cooltrader (a subsidiary of Iceland) and I get lots of cheap stuff from there - anything that is usually £2 in Iceland is a quid in there!! PLUS I get her staff discount - makes it virtually free!

Also means We get 10% off in Iceland too... all very useful these days!

you have to work for the police or maybe nhs to get allowed in but you can get in if you know someone who has access to the shop eg a olice officer

I think it depends which shop you go to (we might all be talking about the sa,e shop but I can't be sure. The one I go to is just off the M1 near Barnsley.)
I get a card because I work for a large multinational bank. Best off to ring and ask becaue I know that my sister and Mum can't get cards because they are teachers but a friend gets on because she's NHS.

That said, shopping at this kind of store can be pretty hit and miss and its often full of rubbish. Wotrth popping in if you're catering for a prty tho as they have lots of 'treats' rather than stuff you'd want to eat every day.
