i contacted two on this list and they were returned to me? Is there a more up to date list?
Not sure how the www.complaintcommunity.com people do theirs - i put a complaint on there about EDF and they sent me an email saying it had been submitted to the business involved (but did not share the email). Havent had a response yet but gonna give them a chance.
Gotta say the more i use it the more i like it. Its free to use and it has made the effort to think about everyones needs in the complaint process (us consumers, the businesses, even people who give expert advice to consumers). The really cool thing i have used is the groupcomplaint tool - as they say "it's a bit like a "class action" without all the legal bits!"- link here fyi http://www.complaintcommunity.com/index.php?wcId=280 -

I had a complaint with Sommerfield, just about the time it had taken over Kwik Save. A cashier had been very rude and offensive and I wrote to the MD to complain. A minion sent a £5 voucher which I sent back to the MD saying I wanted an aplogy not a pay-off. The letter I received back from him was ruder than the original cashier. I was told I was a money grabber who was only out to make complaints for what I could get from them, and that they didn't need my custom anyway.
Needless to say I've never been back to Sommerfield.
Would love to have seen that letter0 -
Thank you so much for your tip and link to the email addresses. I had a long standing problem solved in a day yesterday thanks to your advice and information.0

I've had a complaint on-going with Reid Furniture for almost a year now. I've sent over a dozen letters, all by recorded delivery, made countless phone calls - all of which have been transcribed, and escalated my complaint to Director level.
There is a culture of absolute complacency, with no-one prepared to do ANYTHING to either resolve the complaint or restore my faith in the company. Reading through some of the absolutely ludicrous things I have been told would be entertaining, if only they weren't so infuriating. At one point I was told that 'Customer Service is an after sales service', so they were unable to help me with my complaint about my furniture not being delivered. Their theory was No Furniture = No Sale = No After Sales Service. Huh?
I am absolutely at my wits end, so much so that I'm tempted to just walk away and save my sanity. But then they get off scot-free, and I am left out of pocket. I'm not sure where to go next though, just wish I could take out nationwide billboard posters telling the country what a rubbish service they offer!0 -
Hi all!
Have had great fun reading this thread and good on all of you who have successfully complained!
I have a little (well actually, it's quite big) dilemma and need to know the contact details of the ceo for toyota gb. I have tried looking all over the internet for it, but havn't been able to do so.
Any help would be very much appreciated, thanksWhat doesn't kill you only makes you stronger0 -
I am a bit surprised that people say that they have complaints lasting over a year, etc. For my part, if I am in the right and someone owes me something, the last resort is to take legal action.
Its a bit of a case of sue or shut up.0
