I wanna......iPod?,Apple thingy aaargghhh not sure!

Can one of you lovely people help me out please? I'm a complete techno phobe and for Christmas I would like to get my OH an iPod,MP3 or whatever they are called because he likes to go running long distances.He would like one where the earplugs go around the ears? (I must sound like such a thicko-just never been interested:eek: )So...I would like to spend up to £120 (if possible) he wants to upload/download!? his own songs but it must be simple to use.
It doesn't have to be a 'named' brand-just one that preferably does all of the above.

    hi im after the same thing. just been advised that apple website is prob best bet as they also do engraving in with price and its 3% if u go through quidco.

    The refurb section of the Apple website offers 20-40% discounts depending on model etc. It just means they been display models or returns but fully fixed by Apple, and still come with 1year Apple warrenty :)

    Thanks for the replies, have decided to get an iPod shuffle 2G with strange headphones from Apple Store as OH will be running & says not fussed about a screen.Will go through Quidco(3%) & get it all engraved for nought as well as free delivery.
    Total cost £84.95
