Considering Morrisons advertised in the National Press about this offer, I'm surprised they only had a few for each store, was the idea behind it to get more customers into the store
is it me, but i thought that was the whole point of all the supermarkets, to put special offers on, so they get more customers through the door

Dave, I went to 3 Morrisons supermarkets to get hold of the laptop, as all 3 were sold out, I never purchased a thing.

Trust that’s cleared up any confusion
I'd be interested to know how many laptops were allocated to each store.Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

it is up to you if you want to purchase anything or not, all supermarkets do these sort of offers every now and then, as you say just to get feet through the door, if people choose not to buy anything whilst in there, that is there choice, on the other hand if somebody chooses to buy something whilst in there, then all well and good more profit for the company, that is what buisness is about.
By the way, our store had 12 in, and we are a small store, but to average it out, if every store had 10, thats roughly 3500 laptops sold, and nearly on the day they was put out, Dave.Take every day as it comes!!0 -
Dave, I'm just miffed I never got one

This has been posted elsewhere and most people in the know think that the spec/price is not that special, mainly because of the processor.
If anyone wants a much better laptop ( 2 gb RAM, intel core 2 duo ) for £300, pm me and I will let you know tomorrow where to find it. Sorry for being selfish but I need to make sure I get one for myself and I am waiting for discount codes that are issued tomorrow.
Big edit ; 1 gb RAM, sorry. But it is easy to put another gb in for £20ish.S!!!!horpe0 -

A new laptop at a decent amount would be greatly appreciated! :beer:0 -
if anyone managed to buy one of these laptops you can get an upgrade to Windows 7 from E-Machines for the cost of the postage £12.
