Chunky monkey me, think I would be described as overly plump, prob is at this height one pound on looks like several - I dont actively diet only ones I really had any luck with was aitkins but thats not a good long term thing. And I dont excerise either funny like someone else said, I only started piling it on at the run up to 40th birthday before that I don't think I did anything different - its just creeping up.

    5ft 8 and 13st 12lb. Size 14/16

Need to get on the cross trainer more often...;)

Used to be 16st (size 22) in my teens though, so I'm still happy.

  • 5 foot 8 and currently 12 stone. I'm certain that my 'fighting weight' is closer to ten and a half stone so maybe I need to do a whole lot my dog walking... and maybe it'll help calm my overly-excitable dog down in the process.

  • Im 5ft 3'' and weigh 10 stone 8lb. I had a baby 6 weeks ago, so managed to lose 2 stone in a few weeks!

Before I got pregnant I was about 10 stone 2lb, but im not in a major hurry to lose it all again, as im breastfeeding too.

Well done to all of you who have lost weight, and good luck to those still trying to lose it. I know how hard it is, I put on 4 stone when I had my first son and it took me about two years to lose it all, and it was really hard!

  • This is a really interesting thread. I'm 5'11" (female, 26) and I don't weigh myself as I prefer to go by how I feel in my clothes. I think I'm somewhere between 10 and 11 stone. I'm happiest when I'm fitting into a 12 without any huffing and puffing, but at the moment I'm closer to a 14 I think. I love swimming as a good toning and feel-good exercise but it's not at all appealing on these cold dark nights, especially with an ear infection :(
