Out of stock-what are the chances

Hi - could anyone tell me what experiences you may have had with out of stock stuff coming back in. I've been trying to get my grandson a fishing weigh thingy and its out of stock for home del. and also in every store i've tried. I have also tried to get it elsewhere but must be exclusive to argos as I can't find anything similar. Just wondered if there might be a chance they update their stock regularly. Thanks.

Waited ages for a bathroom cabinet-gave up hope but checked on Friday and it is now in. Thought I would have to wait fior the new book. It has not arrived yet though but have received email confirmation, so keep looking. Alternatively I was told in store to ring HO and they should be able to advise possible replenishment or whether it is obsolete.

Thanks for that, there is still hope then!, I just wanted to avoid the usual mental breakdown two days before christmas.

When you say waited ages how long do you mean, I have currently been waiting over 3 months

I have checked my local argos today and the item is in stock from Friday so have reserved it. I used the 'notify me when in stock' both for home delivery and at that store but they have not let me know either one and it is still showing out of stock for home delivery and at other stores in the area. I hope it's not a mistake as I have got my hopes up now!

i've been hoping that the pink guitar 1/2 size 19.99 is going to come back in stock, it's been out of stock since oct what do you reckon the chances are??

also been trying to get the fisherprice my learning tools it appears to be exclusive to argos or has anyone seen it else where (fingers crossed)

I got my daughter a pink wooden half size guitar from toysrus on friday, £19.96;)

I've seen the tool bench and the tool bag in Toysrus. They are out of stock online though.
