Hi, would someone tell me if I would be able to record from a video player to a dvd recorder? (specifically a video/dvd player combined, to a new dvd recorder)

Is it just a case of connecting leads 'out to in' etc., or scart leads? I also have a freeview box to throw into the equation, but that could be temporarily unplugged or course.

    cheers

I'd like to get the multi-region Panasonic but dont live near a Richer Store.

Any recommendations for the best deal online - havent found any as cheap as Richer
  • Come on lolly - I've just been out in snow and ice today to Richer Sounds in Newcastle for mine today - 110 mile round trip - there are a load of Richer Sounds branches in Greater London and it's not like you don't have public transport (unlike here where there's 1 bus a week to somewhere with a decent supply of shops)

True Hunnymonster, we do have public transport (when they are not on strike) but it is two bus rides and a half-mile walk carrying it. I'd rather pay P&P and get it delivered to my door!

Hunnymonter - you have to realise that life's tough in London ;)
  • I worked in London for 6 months, and that was as long as I could take of it - I resigned on the Friday at noon, and by 6pm everything I owned was packed in a van and on it's way back up the A1 :D

Life on the dole nearer 'home' (Durham) was a far more appealing prospect than being tied up with all those miserable people lol - as it turned out I had a job by the Wednesday (didn't pay as well, but outgoings were substantially less, so I was better off)

What is so bad about London ? For me :

mainly the fact that everyone seems to be po-faced and miserable all the time, or moaning about how bad London is, but never doing anything about moving

the fact that London stinks - it really does, just all you Londoners are used to it - it really hits you when you step off a plane or a train in London

you can't get away from people at all anywhere in SE England, even the 'remotest' corner is packed with people getting 'away' from it all

Now I live in the Scottish Borders, it makes Durham look quite metropolitan and urbanised - but it's great for that very fact.
