CCA for HP?

Can someone please advise me if an HP agreement would be covered, I am wanting to request my CCA but want to get my facts straight first!

Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

  • Hi Tinkles,
Yes I understand they are. Beware though if it is true hire purchase then there could be a minimum number of payments that you've had to make before you can keep the goods that the agreement was taken out for. I bought a car on HP a long time ago and the car did not belong to me until the last payment was made. It might be a credit sale agreement and if so then the goods are yours from day one.

So you definitely have a good reason to ask for a CCA if you're planning to or already are paying reduced payments.
