Hi All!
The wedding - on the 1st - went brilliantly! Although if you remember the weather that day you'll know it was horrible!! But our photographer was brilliant and set up a mini 'studio' at the reception and we're so pleased with the results.
Hopefully you can access some photos here - http://www.bengoode.com/sethandlindsay/gallery.html
Hope everyone's plans are all going well!

Wow what fab photos! It looks like you had a lovely day. I'm quite gutted that your photographer is from the South coast as otherwise I would've booked him on the strength of those photos!
And I LOVE your flowers - really really striking.
So did you do all this on a tight budget then? It certainly doesn't show if you did

Thanks everyone for your messages. We were so pleased at how everything turned out!
My flowers were bought as a present for me by a friend and my talented sis-in-law made my cake as a wedding present too! My jewellery was from a little shop down in Cornwall where my OH grew up so it was nice to have that incorporated into the day.
I made all the invitations, decorations at the ceremony and reception halls and the place cards using various bits from wholesale shops, and ebay!
My favourite bargain was my tiara - 99p plus P&P off eBay!! So it was about £8 I think in total! I did keep telling people that on the day though so proud I was of my bargain! :rotfl:
My veil was about £17 from an internet shop in Poland and I bought little crystals off eBay and glued them on - although this was a bit of a painstaking process - only try it if you have a lot of patience!!!!
My main extravagance was the bridesmaid dresses as I fell in love with them but were more expensive than planned, however one b-maid bought hers as her present to me so that helped a lot! Am so thankful for my many kind friends and family!
Although the little bridesmaid dress was in the BHS sale so was under £30 and her jacket was £7.44 in Debenhams sale as I got it with a 20% discount voucher I had as well!
My mum made all the white tablecloths - 26 in total! - from a roll of fabric we got off eBay so they worked out about £3 each compared to the £8.50 the hire company wanted!!! And another friend getting married in May already plans to borrow them for her tables.
Oh and my mum's outfit (in the green outfit in the photos) was from eBay - original price including the hat was around £400 and she paid.....£26.50!!! :rotfl:
Anyway must stop rambling now - just so fun remembering it all, wish I could do it all again!! :j0
