Has anyone else been charged for film four?? I've been billed for the 'free' month and when I phone up to query it they said it had happened because you pay Sky a month in advance? They said once I cancel it it will be refunded to me next month. I tried to cancel but was told I have to phone back on 13th, exactly one month. How ridiculous! More trouble than it was worth!! :mad:

I had exactly the same thing happen to me :mad: I said that the ad said try film four "absolutely free", and that being charged then refunded is not getting it absolutely free. I made a bit of fuss about it, and got given a £7 credit on my account as a goodwill gesture :rolleyes: I was also told I had to phone up exactly 30 days from when I got the offer started.

I phoned up on the 30 days, and had some little p**** keep telling me I had to send it to them in writing and they needed seven days notice to cancel I read the offer out of the magazine to him, and said how bad I thought it was that no one there seemed to know what they were doing - he hung up on me! :mad: Anyway, eventually got it sorted, but have to agree it was more trouble than it was worth!

I've just tried this number and been given several other numbers to ring dependent on my subscription level. I didn't get a chance to quote the code.

I'm an NTL subscriber and was going to ask if I can get free film 4 so does anyone know if it's possible without me ringing NTL which can be a nightmare?

Channel 31 on Freeview is now the Film Four channel.

Says from July you can watch Film Four on channel 31 for free.

Have a look through your freesat channels. There's a notice displayed on the channel that filmfour will air on - on freeview it was the old more4 + 1, maybe try there first?!;)

If you can't find the notice, have a go at automatically rescanning your channels again (but think you'll find it before you need to do this). Happy hunting!
