Advent calendars where you put goodies inside

Hi
I'm looking for one of those advent calendars where you can put little goodies inside, for our two sons. I'd like to be able to place little treats in like a Matchbox car or similar (two obviously) but many of them have really, really small interior measurements - eg. 3 x 4 x 4 cm.
Can anyone recommend anything that will accommodate slightly larger treats?
Thanks.

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. Hi altyfc,
Not sure how much you are looking at spending, but Aspen & Brown do some great ones that will last for years (hopefully). A little pricey though.
Hope the link works:

My local Lidl stocks a hanging material santa and it's huge. The pockets for your goodies seem to be as big as your hand.
Tescos have an advent box calendar, but I don't know what size the boxes are - just something to look out for on your weekly shopping trip.:wall:0 -
Try Costco. We have a gorgeous wooden one from there where there is a little drop down box for each day with a wooden hanging decoration that the child hangs on the 3d xmas tree scene in the middle. On the 24th is the star for the top of the tree. I manage to put 2 large chocolate coins in the box as well each night, or two cadburys roses etc. Whenever I mention this to anyone they say they have them or have seen them in Costco for about £15.00. Ours will still be used in 30 years we love it so much! Actually, I am gonna dig it out now and post a photo for you:D

My local TKMaxx had some lovely ones of those, loads with all different size pouches.0 -
I saw some of these in TK Maxx on Saturday - Red wooden box (maybe about 4-5cm depth) with decorations on top (I thyink like Santa and reindeer) and little door for each day. Didn't look at the price as I wasn't going to buy it, but it looked pretty.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0
