Making own labels for jam and chutney

So for Christmas Hubby has made some lovely chilly jelly and chutney as well as pickled beet and onions.

I would like to make some labels to stick on to these jars but have no idea how to do that as I want to add some xmas clipart

Does anyone know of any websites I can download from free?:o

Hi Bangerchick,

In Microsoft Publisher , they have a Label wizard you could use for Jars etc. Then you could get some suitable card and make a swing tag for the top of jar. You could use raffia or something natural to tie it around the top.

I spent ages the other week making labels for my Nappy cakes, Did it the hard way though – used “tables”in word. Took ages to make it fit the paper right. Heres a pic!

Try this website for label templates. They also send sample labels if you browse round their site you should see a link - though they can be a bit slow. The templates also work with Microsoft Word, the hardest part is selecting what size label you want
