  • lazy ike ... thank you for your support.

i was well miffed by the gingerbreads attitude and language.

Anyway i've today bought my 10 reams of excellent xerox performance paper at my local wilkinsons ... at £1.50 a ream .. including vat and not subject to delivery charge. Certainly the best deal i've had on quality paper for years .

picked up couple of other bargains whilst there ... as you do in wilko's !!... 500ml pepsi/tango on bogof and 750ml wilko thick bleach at 35p a bottle.

Checked around and found HP Home & Office Multi Use A4 80gsm Paper on offer for £2.24 (half price they say) in my local large Sainsburys. I believe this is a good offer for quality branded paper.

Also, just in case this helps anyone, when printing, to conserve ink, go into the print properties option, and change to fast draft as this uses minimum ink for same quality copying.

Hope this helps someone, your thanks are appreciated in advance.

or free from work (not that i suggest you steal!) just say your using it for work...
I do ad hoc consultancy for a large UK company which gives me a site pass into most of their buildings. I went into London last week to do some work and was greeted by "Hi, didn't expect to see you today". When I joked that I'd only come in because I'd run out of biros (most of them know my sense of humour) one of the managers took it seriously and gave me a lecture on usage of company property!
The guy really thought that I would spend £20 on a train ticket and take four hours out of my day to nick a couple of 10p pens!
    Can I help?

Viking offer upto 5000 sheets at £0.09p per ream (500 sheets in a ream) so you will get 10 reams for 90p + p&p. AFAIK its business customers only but am not 100%
I bought 10 reams of Viking copier paper a few years back when they had an offer of 9p per ream. I only use about 1 ream a year so that's me sorted for the next 10 years. Best 90p I've spent :)
  • People who attend University or have a Job can qualify for a FREE Rebate Program where A4 Reams are Free - just visit your office/local Laser Printer and pick up as many as you like... (Who pays for A4 anymore?!, seriously, if you hold down employment of any type - you'll know the amount of paper that get's literally wasted, perhaps taking a ream or two for your home use may be a benefit to your employer and humanity - no one will question you... if so just claim it's for a project prospectus that you need to print at home...)
