Hello - Wonder what anyone else thought? They have a sort of money saving article every Monday now. Today an interview with a lady who had lived for a year on £1 a day. Very dissapointed no real 'insights' just lots of blah blah - for instance 'saving' on holidays by National Trust type hols (ok fair enough). Pity the Beeb didn't ask Martin to do it - we could have made it much more interesting!! The lady (sorry I didn't catch her name) did go on to say she & the partner had plans for Christmas at £1 a day - just love to hear about that one!!

As you say, funny how there is a book or TV series to accompany these things. How cynical of us.:D
