i think it's a good deal for a landlord. especially if he can increase his profit on his BTL.
i take it that you don't really appreciate this though.0 -
Chucky's expertise is in the field of deleting old posts.
Most people just waste time making posts here, I'd reckon that going back and culling selected older posts to look better as Chucky and Dithering Dad do probably takes about 2x as much time overall. Plus maintaining a few sock puppets (Topov springs to mind) is even more hassle.
Just found this thread and thought I'd make a couple of comments...
1. Pickles - If you're losing sleep because of what has been said on an internet forum by anonymous people then I think you need to give the internet a rest. I am happy to discuss my goals, dreams and plans on MSE but I base my decisions on views expressed by close friends and family, not on views of strangers where I have no idea of their financial background, emotional baggage or hidden agendas they may have.
2. !!!!!!? - More of your posts seem to be getting deleted as time goes by. You state that they are being deleted by MODS not by yourself. While we only have your word for it I am inclined to believe you because so many of my posts were deleted by mods when you, your 'sock puppets', your sycophants and your disciples complained about them.
The MSE Moderators are busy people and simply delete any posts that receive a number of complaints, regardless of whether the complaints are justified. Now that your 'control' of this particular part of the forum is beginning to slip and your sycophants are being replaced by people who are happy to poke holes in your half-baked rantings, more of your posts are being deleted and less of mine are. Coincidence? I don't think so.Mortgage Free in 3 Years (Apr 2007 / Currently / Δ Difference)

One other thing. If you save the picture and then blow it up in Windows picture editor it is just about possible to make out the reference number. I don't think it matters particularly in this case, but any MSE'ers thinking of doing the same with other confidential information might want to reconsider.
Mewbie thanx for pointing out about confidential information, I thought I had done enough by crossing it out with two different colours. This is very good advice for everyone.0 -

You don't need to prove anything here either - there are an awful lot of people on this group who are determined to pick personal arguments.
The last thing you should be doing is going out of your way in the real world to humour them or giving them any sort of leverage with which to intrude into your personal life.--
Every pound less borrowed (to buy a house) is more than two pounds less to repay and more than three pounds less to earn, over the course of a typical mortgage.0 -

!!!!!!? I like you have very strong beliefs and in this case I did let them get to me but I proved to them and others that the doom and gloom mongers are not always right and things for mortgage can and will improve in the short term.0 -

As I keep saying, it's not about doom and gloom. It's about making a judgement on the facts available.
Mortgages IMO will only get 'cheaper' in the near term - the government is clearly committed to slashing rates for better or for worse and now has nationalised around half the mortgage lending sector so it can apply pressure to the market to make them cheaper - but you will require more of your own capital.
It still doesn't mean that buying property right now is a good idea, not with prices continuing to plummet and an uncertain outlook.--

Changed your mind again!'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
Changed your mind again!
lol, !!!!!! changes his position more often than a Karmasutra practitioner.
No doubt he'll be along next to argue with you....Mortgage Free in 3 Years (Apr 2007 / Currently / Δ Difference)
