When I was a wee girl, Tuesday night dinner with my gran was alternatively corned beef, mash and processed peas or cold spam, chips and beans. I can still remember the delight or the texture of the hot crispy homemade (fired in dripping yeuch) chips combined with the cold slimyness of the spam and the sweetness of the baked beans. happy days.
(you wouldnt catch me dead eating it now mind you, being as I am vegetarian lol!)
