Add some to an omelette. It also makes a tasty toad in the hole. Spam salad? With jacket potatoes and baked beans?

i used to have this whenever my mum was too uninspired/tired to cook - sauteed slices of Spam with 4/5 well-beaten eggs, and then throw in a bag of beansprouts, cook for 2 mins and serve with boiled rice... yum!

When I was a wee girl, Tuesday night dinner with my gran was alternatively corned beef, mash and processed peas or cold spam, chips and beans. I can still remember the delight or the texture of the hot crispy homemade (fired in dripping yeuch) chips combined with the cold slimyness of the spam and the sweetness of the baked beans. happy days. :) (you wouldnt catch me dead eating it now mind you, being as I am vegetarian lol!)
