christmas dinner for 16 adults and 10 children - advice please!

Steph I love your ideas we might be having a big christmas again this year so will be using some of them.

Pigs in blankets can be prepared and frozen now then taken out the night before and cooked on the day. I usually put my milk on the back doorstep on christmas eve and that way it clears up space in the fridge, we have a huge fridge but my family drink tons of milk so I usually buy 3 or 4 6pt bottles for the holidays. I like the idea of children having a picnic, do you have space to sit everyone if not how about a mix of a hot and cold buffet like cold meats with salads then lasagne and jacket potatoes or roast potatoes, you can also buy the part baked bread and bake just before you eat my family love them hot with a buffet.

If you can find one invest in a hostess trolley ! My mother in law caters for about 24 of us at Christmas and its the only way she can cope.
