Hen Party Ideas Please (Games etc)

Hi, I'm organising my sisters hen do, its in 2 weeks
.
She wants something low key that wont cost the guests too much. I have booked a pole dancing lesson which is £20 per person and thought we could come back to mine, order takeaway and have a few drinks.

I want to organise a few party games to make the night a bit more interesting, I am making a photo DVD for her (this is your life style photo DVD) and I have made a marriage survival kit. I was hoping for a few more ideas, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Why don't you invite a beautician over to give treatments - there may be a discount for a captive audience.

One of the best parties I've had involved a reputable medium who gave private readings on a rota basis.

Casinos are a great place for having a fun time, this can be done w/o spending a penny at the tables / slots.

If there is a gap btwn the hen night and the wedding why not have a henna session at the do? Everyone can have a go, and it can be applied in unobtrusive areas of the body if you're worried it might not fade before the big day.

I did a list once which went down well. The bride has a list of tasks she has to complete before she is allowed to go home. You can make the list as nice or not so nice as you want. All hen party attendees must help her to complete the list
    eg.
    get a man's phone number
ask a married couple for advice
get the waiter to pinch her bum
get a bloke to buy her a drink
    etc

*Go to a CashPoint, and start Shouting and Celebrating Youve won*
SHOPPING RULE: ONLY BUY WHAT YOU REALLY NEED
  • my hen night we all went into town, but i had received a list of tasks through the post that i had to complete. they were all stupid but do-able - get 15 phone numbers from strangers, aquire a piece of clothing from some1 of opposite sex, get a stranger to buy you a drink, get a photo of you with police or fire etc, down a drink in 1,

get a notebook and get everyone to write messages about the bride in it - things she has done in the past, what she was like when younger, receipes for her after marriage, tips for a good marriage etc

wedding bingo - make some cards b4 the night, 1 for each person but dont put all items on all cards, mix them about. add things like bride, bridesmaid, groom, pageboy, best man, rings, wedding dress, flowers, church, car, honeymoon, champagne and have 1 person with a list of all items who is the caller.

    truth or dare

what is in a ladies bag..... (needs a prize, pens and paper), prepare a list of items found in a ladies handbag and award points to each - the stranger the item the more points it gets. keys, purse, lipstick, pen, diary, condoms, tampons, loose change, store card, shopping list, till receipt, spare tights, chewing gum AND some not so normal items - dog treat, nappy, nappy bag, dental floss, a toy, clothes peg, a pin, batteries work down the list and the each person to produce it gets the amount of points its worth, at the end the person with most points wins the prize.

    hope these help.
due to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:

One thing that people did for my hen night which I loved, and which I still read, is sent my husband to be a questionaiire. THings like, what'sher most annoying habit, which of her underwear do you like least, is there anything she cooks you don't like... and lots of other nice questions too. It was really very funny and it's a lovely thing to look back at.
