£25000 unsecured loan help

Options
Hi,

Basically i took out a loan from Northern Rock in November for £25000 to consolidate lots of other debt. In June 2005, i started working in a new job with much better pay so i should earn around £60K this year. Even with this however the loan they offered me was with a 12.9%APR. I ended up taking it out as i was going abroad to work for 6 weeks after that.

The question is i am not at all happy with the rate though and would like to try and take out another loan for a similar amount and pay this one off as there are no redemption penalties. Will trying to take out another loan with this one so new present problems and who should i try. Also i am hoping to pay most of the loan back in the next 12 months so a loan without redemption penalties is a must.

As of today mine and my wifes credit reports are good, my score is at 919 and my wifes who was on my loan application was 972 even though she earns half my wage.

Any help is appreciated.
