Can anyone help? Dont really want to spend more than a grand. pleaase help. want best spec and a good deal.

    dell d400 / d410 very good and reliable but has a seperate cd. It is very light. But if you are looking for ultra light then the x1 is the baby for you. Both should be able to be brought off the outlet for around £700

    My son bought a Toshiba Portege A200 as he wanted something that had good spec and also light. Think he paid about £700 a couple of months ago.
