Can someone explain to me what the difference is ?.I read something about you can do this or that if your CCA was before April 2007.My account was opened May 2007.

I knew Fermi had explained this very clearly somewhere and found it here
Your account is under the CCA (Consumer Credit Act) 2006 and lack of signed agreement does not mean that the debt is unenforceable.
Mind you, not all creditors seem to be aware of this and I have got a few catalogue debts written off that are post-April 2007 by quoting the pre-April 2007 rules.
It was my mistake of course. I wouldn't have done it deliberately.;)0
