What type of car finance is is? If loan it would be included in the banruptcy. If HP would depend if the HP company was happy for you to continue (and that there would be no equity in the vehicle that the OR would be interested in).

Cat insurance? Increase clothes; any dry cleaning, professional susbscriptions, breakdown cover for car?

Looks OK - but TV licence should be £12 (round it up).

Are you able to keep your HP car??? Have you read the contract on it?? If you are not able to keep it then this amount will have to come off, leaving you with enough surplus for an IPA. If your car is essential to work then you will have to negotiate with the OR about a sum to pay for a new one (not new, but another - you know what I mean).

Is the HP/car in your name solely???

You have missed health at £30,pet £20,dry cleaning £20,holidays £20. If you add those you are in deficit. That said i don't know how you stand with secured loan or your car repayments. Maybe the others can shed some light.Dx

    Ps. Good Luck for wed.Dx

  • Hi thanks for this, how much should i increase clothes too do you think?
I dont know whether I will be able to keep the car, as there is a bankruptcy clause but the lady on the phone at ford told me i might be able to still keep it anyway. HP agreement was taken out in september 06 for 3,120.00. for 42 mnths. So i have 16 payments left i think... I do need the car for work and to get my hubby to work too..

I've seen £50 as a guideline for one person, so you could up to say £75/£80 for two people and see what happens.

Whether or not you keep the car is down to FORD and not just your OR. I think you need clarification from Ford and ask for it in writing if they will let you keep it. Then you have to cross check this with the OR (tedious!), but you could also state that OH is paying for the car and remove it from your SOA altogether (and also reducing the amount OH contributes equally).
  • Its worth 2 grand on parkers x
  • Top idea skylight, that give me a bit of time to sort it out with ford. i will do that x
  • Oh and agreement is just in my name.. can i just check - which bits do you but down for yourself and which bits do you put oh contributing too - confused by the clothes comments - i thought this would just be for me?
