reviving stale rolls?

We are having some chicken stew, made in the slow cooker, for tea. The problem is that I got some tiger rolls out of the freezer to defrost this morning to have with it but even though they are now deforosted they are hard and I suspect stale. I there any way I can revive them so we can have them with our stew in a bit?
Mant thanks

  • I have revived rolls before now by putting them in the microwave just before serving and blasting them for about 10-20 seconds. They need to be eaten quickly as they are liable to dry out even more.
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D
  • I'd spray them with some water and then put them in the oven (or microwave) for a few minutes - the water stops them drying out too badly.

  • Thanks for that, I microwaved them for 30 sec then wrapped them in foil with a few drops of water and put them in a warm oven for a bit. They were mostly ok, a couple of chewy bits but I got no complaints from the kids who wolfed down the bread and stew!!! I must admit it was lovely.
