reviving stale rolls?

We are having some chicken stew, made in the slow cooker, for tea. The problem is that I got some tiger rolls out of the freezer to defrost this morning to have with it but even though they are now deforosted they are hard and I suspect stale. I there any way I can revive them so we can have them with our stew in a bit?

I have revived rolls before now by putting them in the microwave just before serving and blasting them for about 10-20 seconds. They need to be eaten quickly as they are liable to dry out even more.

I'd spray them with some water and then put them in the oven (or microwave) for a few minutes - the water stops them drying out too badly.Piglet

Thanks for that, I microwaved them for 30 sec then wrapped them in foil with a few drops of water and put them in a warm oven for a bit. They were mostly ok, a couple of chewy bits but I got no complaints from the kids who wolfed down the bread and stew!!! I must admit it was lovely.0
