I emailed them to check if it was available to non-subscribers, and they said that although they don't cross reference entries against their sub list, the extra competition was only meant to reward loyal customers, so thought it best to remove this one.0 -
Hi everyone
After having a bit of luck on the main board I've decided to slink in and try some of your postal comps - I've just written out 10 and my hand is now killing!
Can I ask - for all you regulars how do you keep up with all the boards? I'm finding that if I catch up on the daileys and mothlies I then fall behind on the main boards which then takes me a few days to catch up and now I'd like to do these too. How do you all do it - you make it look effortless
Also for these postals - (before I send them off) When it asks for your details does that mean my phone number/email too?
Thanks in advance
hi and welcome, great comps on here, to save your hand getting sore, most of us on here use address labels, i have name, address and tel number on mine, this also stops postcards getting returned by the postoffice!
when it asks for details it needs full name, address and tel number normally, although up to you if you want to put down tel number, if it asks for age/email then posts will normally state this, i know i do:D
i do the main board plus postals, never do dailys, just started doing weeklys and sorted out the monthlies list so its easier to do

Hi, The ones i post , if it specifies for your tele: no. / email etc, i would type it out in the details, majority of them just ask for name, address & p/code, if they ask for tel: no, i'd include it in the details , hthplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -

Hi, I was thinking the same thing re : recipe competition. I did have larger post card but seem to have ram out. Maybe you could measure urs PMS then we could cut out card the same size to use as a postcard0 -

But the comps are on a double page spread entitled 'Subscriber exclusive'. I will email them to check, will say my friend had helped with the quiz and wanted to enter too.0 -
As you can see, I've recently taken out a trial subscription to CrossStitcher magazine, so please can you put me down for this one on the list.
There are several other crafty magazines that are on offer for 3 issues for £1. As they are from the same publishers, they might well also have competitions in them. I've subscribed to the 2 cross stitch ones, but there are also knitting, scrapbook and papercraft mags available. If anyone wants to subscribe to these, here is the link:
www.myfavouritemagazines.co.uk/TX21
There is no minimum subscription period, so you can cancel after the first 3 issues without any problems. There is also a free project bag as part of the offer.
Hope this isn't too off topic. I was thinking of subscribing to the other ones just for the competitions, but it seems a bit wasteful, if other people are more likely to get some use out of the magazines.0
