DH said when they are in the flower the bottom curls under...You know when you watch a bee and its back curls round..we think its that....but still looking for better pics at mo...:rotfl:

Looking at that I don't think it's hummingbird moth cos the wings are different. The one watters01 posted looks a lot like it so I'm going to go with that I think, Bombylius major (Bee Fly)
