Hi
I am looking for some advice. I live at home with my parents and for the past 4 years I have been paying most if the bills as my father was injured at work and receives beneifts only. As a result I now owe over £30,000, a combination of credit cards and loans. I do not own any property or anything of value. I feel I have no life as I cannot afford to go out with my friends. I recently quit my job to move abroad with my boyfriend. I am back home now as I could not find any employment. I cannot afford to make the payments as I do not have any income. As I live in Scotland I have been reading about LILA and am wondering if this is the best solution, however, I do not want to list my parents as the reason for me being in debt incase they force them to sell their house to cover the debts. I just feel there is no way out and I dont know what to do. Any ideas?

Hi 100
Welcome Honey,
I don`t know much about the Scottish system but firstly you need to speak to one of the debt charities....see top tool bar for numbers.
As your parents home is theirs`s then I cant see how that can be affected by your debt anyway.
Main thing is to get on the phone tomorrow & talk to CCCS/Nat Debtline or/and CAB.
Take care, Angex0
