Euro or stirling travelers cheques

It is too late to get my Nationwide card. Which of these cheques is it better to take to Lanzarote. I could also take cash as I have somewhere safe to keep it. What do you recomend.

I'd recommend any other credit or debit card over travellers' cheques or cash.

    Ditto.

Unless you get your cash/TCs very cheaply, your card will be better. What you pay in charges on the latter you will lose (and more) in a loaded exchange rate on the former
