Anyone know of a good deal on a Laptop or PC?

I know the basics to look out for like Hard Drive etc but not much after that.So does anyone know any good offers in the sales at the moment.It's for my brother in law and he would prefer a laptop but if not then a PC will do.He wants it bascially to play his Football Manager game on,download music to his mobile and do a bit of college work on.He's looking to pay around the £500 mark.

Yeah the sale does start tomoorow, i have visited a site called https://www.wizmarkcomputers.co.uk and they seem to list all the dell deals. Well worth a look.
