    Hello :hello:

Just wondering if you're still here as no-one has posted for a few days. Was looking through various threads and this one seems perfect for me as I don't think I can do the Flylady one, I don't have the time after work every day but would love to get more done during the week than I do now ;). I love making up lists but sometimes find it hard to do the jobs on it :o, althought his week went quite well so far.

Do you mind if I join in, please?

  • Hi thriftylass.

I'm still here, just not getting anything done at the moment!

I'm on holiday from work at the moment - before I broke up I had a list about 3 pages long I was going to do while I was on holiday; since then I've watched a lot of daytime telly and had a lot of afternoon naps :)

Please, post your list and I'll cheer you on until I feel enough energy returning to face my own list :D

Hi Pollydaydream, thanks. I needed sth like this challenge. I'm on the living off 4k challenge but was also looking for a place more like this as not to bore them with off topic to do lists :o. Here is the list I made on Monday for this week:

    • [STRIKE]relist books etc on Am@z0n[/STRIKE] - DONE
    • [STRIKE]sort out my wardrobe (bring it stuff to charity)[/STRIKE] - DONE
    • try to rid my pepper/chilli plants of their pets (little spider mites) - IN PROGRESS
    • clean and tidy the house top to bottom esp. kitchen cupboards and floors
    • [STRIKE]look out books that can go to my work's charity book sale this month[/STRIKE] - DONE
    • cook work lunches
    • try not to spent money - I am trying :)
    • change bed linen
    • prepare food for BBQ on Friday
    • make a list of other things to get done within this month - IN PROGRESS

Hopefully I get some worklunches done tonight when BF is out playing football. I'm looking forward to next week as I got Mo and Tue off and get hopefully loads done while I'm motivated :p

    Hi thriftylass :hello:
Just on the point above- last week I had 5 (yes 5!!!) NSDs. I managed this by making sure I had bought everything I could possibly need for lunches for work, took some cash out at the beginning of the week (I took out £10 but it's normally more like £20-£30) and then left the cards at home. No more temptation to spend as I had nothing to buy with!! :D

    Good luck
    :D

I also got all the food etc in the house I could possibly need at the moment, but my downfall is to forget the milk or needing fresh fruit and veg because I eat them too quickly :o. But I should have enough of that now til next Monday. I never take my purse to work either but today I grew weak and asked a work colleague for a pound to buy a banana because I was hungry and didn't bring enough food with me- at least it was a healthy snack . I've got 8 quid left in my purse that have to last til Sunday.

Off now to work on my list of jobs. See you later

Thriftylass, I have followed you over from the Live on £4k. Although I am not a signed up member, I am a regular reader, and started to be a regular poster. I too am a bit of a procrastinator. I think it started from being so busy, I was always doing things last minute. Then when I got ill, I couldnt do, so didnt do. NOw I am levelle out more, and I am on my own, (DS is hardly ever here), so I have to do it all now there is noone to ask.
My lists tend to be more notes here and there. The intention is there, but the habit is not.
With help from a lot of people on MSE I am now in a more positive mode and have started doing sewing, crafts to take me through the day.
Its only been about 10 days since I came off some of the medication that made me so drowsy, and I am realising that there are more hours in the day then I was seeing.
I havent had to go for a lie down during the day once.!
So those extra hours, as such, need to be filled. Mostly they are filled with stting on MSE reading all the different threads, getting the inspiration but not putting it into practise!!!
    So today, I plan to:-
Dig out the slow cooker, and once the spiders have been made homeless, make a casserole with the bits of lamb I got off of the butcher van, on tuesday.
Weed the front garden. (Its just a small strip infrnt of the house).
Find the fabrics and accessorie to make a handbag and then
Make a handbag- Or at least start it.
Housework wise._ See if I can fix the vacuum so I can use it!!.
Lets see if writing it down makes me more inclined to do it.
    Mooloo
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.
