Buonjourno all.
It has been an interesting journey, these last 2 years have been full of pain, shame, distress, frustration, anger, grief and emotions I never thought existed.
It's easy for me now to say to those of you worried about BR that you shouldn't worry. I've been lucky I suppose (although you guys who know me will tell a different tale.)
I watch the financial situation in the UK and cant begin to imagine how difficult life must be for the strugglers, as I once was.
Just know that you're not alone as long as there are websites like this and even if you feel life is over, trust me, it get's better
I married a beautiful lady last week in Venice, time for the rest of my life.
I'll never forget you all

hi
I second everything you say above..Im inthe first 4 months of BR and despite some initial hiccups it has made my life better and stress free to a point...
Living on a fixed income is not easy and twiddling the pennies from week to week is a bit depressing, but I count my blessings, Im reasonably healthy, have a roof over my head, clothes on my back and food to eat...basics but enough to be getting on with in the wider picture ie credit crunch I feel BR has been a good grounding for the next few months as folks tighten there belts:o
I had to hit rock bottom to rise up the better person I have become...and I think Im a nice person :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
And we are never alone in the BR journey whilst this forum survives..:j :j

Congratulations on your nuptials posthinking. I take it by your greeting that you live in Italy??? I'm sure it is difficult for newbies to believe that life can turn out good when they are just starting their journey to debt freedom but it is posts like yours that show you can come through the other side.
I wish you and your wife well and hope you both have a long and happy life together!
