Hi, im looking into selling slogan tshirts, would any one have any info on the cheepest way to buy tshirts and hoodies wholesale and also the cheepest way to have them printed?

There are millions of people selling these online. Most do it through companies like spreadshirt, where they provide you with an online store and all you do is upload your designs.

Well, there's probably a bit more to it than that, but that's the gist of it.

Iv had a look at that site looks good, I really want to get some made up then sell them to the clothes shops in my area rather than sell online and hopefully get some xmas ones made up

The best place to buy wholesale would be in the East End of London. Try down New Road where there is a plethora of importers/wholesalers/distributors.

South Wales does not really have much in the way of wholesalers. There used to be Bargain Wholesale in Cardiff (https://www.bargainwholesale.co.uk) but the lack of website would indicate they have now closed. The next nearest would have been Mike Palmer in Bristol, but he has now closed. If you want babywear try https://www.elizabeth-anne.co.uk but don't think you will really find anything suitable there for your requirements. They are just outside Cowbridge on the old airbase on the road to Llantwit Major.

Your best bet really be to make a trip into the East End. Don't go on a Saturday, they are closed. Sundays is a trading day though.

Having worked until the start of this year supplying just about every UK wholesale business with baby & childrens wear, I can tell you that the trade is in a dire recession. Thanks to the likes of Asda/TK Maxx/Matalan/Peacocks/etc the individual retailers that support the kind of wholesalers you seek have been forced out of business, thus forcing the wholesalers out of business in return.

That's globalisation for you.

I was going to suggest Manchester but i guess thats too far to travel. I'll ask a market friend next time i am in town.

Thanks very much for your replies, I know it may be a bit hard with money being tight for everyone, but I just want to do certain t shirts with very original slogans , somthing really different

Only really Vijay, Sams LA Vision and Manchester Clothing really left in Manchester. Much more still in the East End.
